The Choice Bus

Knox 6th Grade students toured the Choice Bus, which is funded through our State CIS Office and the Matte C. Stewart Foundation. The program is a designed to encourage students to stay in school. The bus is equipped with a jail cell, and the students preview a movie with inmates describing how they ended up in prison, and telling the viewers the mistakes they made, and why it is so important to stay in school. The bus was here in October and went to North High School in the morning and then came to Knox in the afternoon. Students sign a pledge to STAY IN SCHOOL after visiting the bus.
